Hopefully you all are having a great summer. As I write this, I am sitting in Pagosa Springs, CO. enjoying a nice, long vacation.
A few months ago, I shared with you that I was back on Strava. I would like to share with you now some of the things that I have really liked, and I actually made YouTube videos to help demonstrate these features.
The first video is simply how you track your runs on Strava. As a Garmin user, data automatically goes from my Garmin, right to my Strava account.
The second feature I really like feeds into my competitive nature, and that is you can see in a race or a group run, how you compared to your friends on Strava.
I mentioned earlier at the beginning of this post that I am on vacation and did a lot of hiking last week in Rocky Mountain National Park last week. I was able to easily track all our family hikes and get all the information on how far we went, pace, and how much elevation gain we made.
Strava has been a great tool for me over the past few months and will continue to use from now on. I will be honest, I use it more for tracking my workouts and not so much looking at what others are doing. I hope everyone has great runs and crushes their goals, but keeping track of everyone else workouts is just not what I do.
If you would like to follow me on Strava, search my name, Mark Davidhizar.
