Back Again: Project Pink Oofos

“Disclaimer: I received a free pair of OOFOS Recovery Footwear as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out to review find and write race reviews!”

Back in March, I blogged and reviewed the Oofos slide on Project Pink sandals. Well, they are back and it’s a great opportunity for you to get your feet in the most comfortable sandals out there (my opinion).

As a runner, taking care of my feet is one of the most important things I do. Yes, I spend over $100 on the best running shoes that meet our needs, but what about post run or race? One of the best things that you can do for your feet is to get a pair of OOFOS Recovery Footwear. Oofos is “recovery technology for your feet.”

  • Absorbs shock with every step you take
  • Cradles your arches
  • Reduces stress on feet, knees, and back
  • Enables more natural motion

Once again, Oofos has teamed up with Dana Farber Foundation.  For every pair of Project Pink Oofos sandals sold, OOFOS will donate $10 will go to the Dana Farber breast cancer research. The team at OOFOS is very familiar with this cause. Duncan Finigan, a long time member of the OOFOS family, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2014. You can read more of Duncan’s story here.

I have still yet to finish nd a better recovery sandal than Oofos. The amount of absorption that Oofos takes away from your feet with every step is incredible and really speeds up the recovery process.  Following the Chicago Marathon, I slipped them on right away to walk around the course to walk my wife finish up her marathon.  I probably walked 10-15 miles the rest of the day in my Oofos.  While legs were still tired and sore, it was no where near as bad as they had felt following other marathons.

Get yourself a favor and treat your feet to a pear, and get a pair of Project to help the Dana Farber Foundation!
