If you have been a long time follower of my blog, or even within just the past 6 months, then you know that I love compression.  I wear compression shorts on every run and socks on every long run, speed work, or race. While I love compression, I am always open to trying different brands, so when given a chance to try Skins, I was all in!

According to the Skins website, Skins specialize in Dynamic Gradient Compression:

SKINS most advanced compression technology increases muscle oxygenation, stabilises active muscles and reduces blood lactate build up, to enhance performance and speed up recovery time.

I can go on about all the testing and how the shorts are made according to the Skins website, but let’s just move on to what really matters, now do they feel and do I notice a difference in muscle performance.

I can tell you, while they are extremely comfortable compression shorts, they do a great job at keeping my muscles relaxed and moving during my runs and aid in faster recovery.  The shorts are probably the most effective shorts I have worn in both muscle performances and in recovery.

How much do I believe in them??? I will be wearing them in this years Chicago Marathon on October 8th. There is no way I would wear a product that I was not comfortable in during such a big race.

My only complaint is the price of the shorts, $100.  That’s a little rough (but don’t worry, I have a discount code for you).

Want to give them a shot? I strongly suggest you do, so use promo code BIBRAVE20 for 20% off your order!
