Admission time. Before becoming a BibRave Pro, I never owned a Buff. Yeah I watched Survivor (almost religiously), but never thought about the benefits they could have for a runner. Even before becoming a Pro and seeing the Pro’s with them and talking about how great they are, I never pulled the trigger and bought one.
Since becoming a pro, I have tested out the
Now it’s time to introduce the UV Half Buff. It’s of course from the same company that created all the other great products. There are many fake products that claim to be the same, but they just fall short
The Half UV Buff, compared to the full, is the same except for the obvious: it’s half the size. It may be half the size, but it is awesome. And in the summer, it has some added benefits over the full UV Buff.
Half the size means less fabric which leads to more air movement and heat escaping. At the same time, offering great UV protection. The downside (if there really is one) is that there are less ways to wear it for guys unless you have long hair. For me, there are two ways that I wear it:
For the ladies (or guys with longer hair), it’s great for keeping the hair out of your face and sweat out of your eyes. Also like the other Buff products, there is no odor left behind, so if you don’t have time to wash it right away, you can let it sit or a little while or just wear it again.
For summer running, this is my favorite Buff to use because of the added UV protection and its light weight. I like it so much, I have already picked up a couple more to add to my expanding Buff collection. For those of you who enjoy biking, the Half Buff fits great under your bike helmet as well.
